In a galaxy far, far away: life (not quite) imitating art

“If there’s a bright center to the universe, you’re on the planet that it’s farthest from.”

The City of San Francisco has launched a Rainwater Harvesting Initiative. The initiative includes a subsidy to purchase a 60-gallon rainwater barrel for runoff capture. This barrel is specifically designed to prevent mosquito infestation and keep out contaminants. It’s a sweet accessory to have during the drought. Check it out at the Big Blue Bucket Eco-Fair, October 11, 10 am to 2 pm at Jerrold Avenue & Phelps Street.
